Virtual adoption or foster parenting

Sometimes dogs come into the shelter that cannot yet, or can never, be adopted. Since Hope for Homeless has a “no kill” policy, these dogs then stay at the shelter. Reasons these dogs will not yet or never be adopted may be because they are too old, too traumatized or need too much medical care due to illnesses. Yet they remain living creatures who are very endearing and want to be hugged. These dogs cost money, but you can help us in several ways: One way is a one-time donation, another way is by virtually adopting or becoming a foster parent. This involves paying a monthly fee of €20 to Hope for Homeless. We make sure that the money is also used for “your” foster dog and in addition we keep you informed, through pictures or videos, how your foster dog is doing.
