Today three lovely girls, Anna Maria, Marilia and Christina, brought food, toys, rugs and blankets. They told us that they bought the food and toys from their own money. They made lemonade and sold it outside the apartment building where they live to residents and passersby.

But how they touched us. I wish more children, their age, were so aware of stray animals.
