About Chanel

Chanel's story

I don’t know if you’ve heard of it before. The dogs, as they call it in Cyprus, who were rescued from the “Hell of Kornos”.

Well, I was there too and luckily they took me out of there too. As a beautiful lady I was given the name Chanel.

The name is beautiful, but the history of my young life was not so beautiful, fragrant and colorful.

I was also sitting in my own feces with not enough care, food and water.

Fortunately, I was admitted to the Hope for Homeless shelter. You can call that a real shelter, good care, going outside on time and enough healthy food.

I have already received so much love and attention from the volunteers here, more than I can remember in my life.

It is simply a 5 star hotel there and that is of course worthy of Chanel.

Now, of course, it is not my intention to continue living in a shelter. Every dog wants attention from its own owner and of course I want that too.

I may need a little bit more luck, because I was born as a breed that not everyone falls in love with right away. But as they know here, I am very sweet, I like to ask for the attention of the volunteers for a nice hug and I am also okay with the children who come here.

A small point of concern is that I am not equally social with all dogs.

But with a good adopter who gives me the right guidance and corrects, that point of concern can be trained well. Be honest, should you be friends with everyone or should you like everyone equally? Oh no?

So now I am looking for an adopter who wants to take me into his home, his family and take care of me. Who walks with me, cuddles and yes of course also spoils me a little.

But certainly someone who knows how to deal with me and give me the right guidance. If that is you, please call me, they can probably tell you more about me.

For more info, you can always call or email us using our contact information!

All of our dogs stay at the shelter in Cyprus.

Love,
