Hope for Homeless needs to move from its current location. The owner of the plot did not fulfill his payment obligations to the bank, even though we were paying him monthly rent, which caused Altamira Asset Management Cyprus Ltd to seize the plot and terminate our contract. Because of this, we had to look for a new home for our animals.

Fortunately, we found a new plot and thanks to donations from our volunteers and the public, we were able to purchase it. Meanwhile, this piece of land has been fenced and can be cultivated. Through our volunteers, our network on Facebook and Instagram, we started looking for an architect. We found this one and he made a drawing, free of charge, of our new shelter as we think it should be. During this process, we also found out that the cost of the entire construction was much higher than we expected. As it is calculated now, by the architect, we come out at €120,000. Therefore, we make an urgent appeal to the whole world, animal lovers, volunteers, professionals, dog caretakers, as well as businesses, anyone who can do something financially or materially for our animals, all of you who love the work we do and what we strive to do to help these souls. We don’t want them to end up on the streets for the second time because we don’t know when we will have to leave our current place and if the new shelter is not there by then, all the animals will be on the streets and will end up in the hands of the state where they will face a certain death.
