Adoption Jumbo

Sometimes we are asked if we believe in miracles. We definitely believe that! Otherwise, we would not be fighting every day for these babies.
Yesterday we experienced another miracle! Perhaps one of the most beautiful miracles. Yesterday our hope was reborn that our daily fight for bums is not lost and that there are real dog lovers here on “Stray Island”….
Our Jumbo, the dog who, since the post of his video began, has received more than 15,000 likes, and where everyone has been shocked by his story. We will never know what he went through, how he lived, how much pain he was in and suffered until the day he came to our shelter. A happiness in his bad luck. A soul who, no matter how much we tried to help him, to make him feel good, his depression over everything he was going through, but showed us no signs of improvement, so our task was too difficult.
His eyes were always empty, God knows how long he lived like that terrible and always lying curled up in the corner day after day. There are dogs who, after a few days in the shelter, find peace; others, however, fall into depression. Our Jumbo is one of them. He didn’t just want likes, he desperately wanted to get out of here. His painful story really touched the soul of a woman who came to the shelter from the day she saw his story and met him.
Jumbo was forcibly hospitalized last week, as you all know. A week after his hospitalization, this woman did not want Jumbo to go back to daycare. She opened her home and more importantly her arms to give Jumbo what he deserves. A warm home and a warm hug!
Our Jumbo has finally found his “forever home”!!! We will be eternally grateful to this wonderful woman and her husband for saving Jumbo, a little soul who was in pain and suffered so much emotionally.
We thank our friend Elpida Iakovidou who came to the clinic yesterday for being Jumbo’s “godmother.”
We thank Dr. George Evangelou for the love and interest he has shown. The final price he charged us will allow us, from your contributions, to castrate two more babies from our shelter.
Thank you to all who responded to our call.
YES, MIRACLES DO HAPPEN!!!
WE HOPE OUR JAMBO GETS BETTER
GOD BLESS YOU ALL ❤️🙏
