A touching gesture from our little friends from Livadia’s junior school.

Today we were pleasantly surprised, and very touched, by the children of Sector B of Livadia Junior School in Larnaca.

We arrived at the school at 9:30 a.m. and were greeted with open arms by, both the children and the head teacher of the school. We gave a brief presentation on the problems we have with stray animals, how we approach the problem and the work we do at our shelter.

We were totally surprised by the fact that the children, together with their principal and other teachers, had prepared a wonderful presentation for us, with the children of all classes giving their own speech and concluding by singing two beautiful songs for us. We were also showered with gifts, for our four-legged angels. We want to thank them all, from the bottom of our hearts, for their care and love.

We were so struck by their warm welcome and we want to thank their head teacher as well as their teachers for teaching the children about the importance of caring for animals and certainly we want to thank the children for all the effort and love they showed to make it a very special day for all.

If our angels could speak, they would have so much to say……
